What Do We Offer At Pinkerton Pain Therapy?
| At Pinkerton Pain Therapy, we offer the latest technologies for the treatment of back pain, hip and leg pain, neck pain, headaches, and much more! We also offer oral, non-habit forming medications. We will work in conjunction with your primary care physician and other specialty physicians to get you back to work and back to your family activities! Dr. Pinkerton offers many options for the treatment of pain. The following are a few of the treatments we offer. Click on each heading for more information. Epidural Injections: Injections into the epidural space of the cervical, thoracic, or lumbar spine for the treatment of pain. Facet Injections: Injections around the joints on each side of the spine to treat pain caused by the facet nerves. Occipital Nerve Blocks: Injections into the occipital nerves at the base of the skull for headaches associated with occipital pain or occipital neuralgia. Radiofrequency: Destruction of the facet nerves can be done for longer relief of pain that has been previously relieved by facet nerve blocks. Spinal Cord Stimulators: A device implanted under the skin with leads attached to the spine for continuous control of pain. Vertebroplasty: This involves the placement of bone cement into the bodies of the vertebrae weakened from osteoporosis or compression fractures. Disc Decompression: This involves the removal of some "cushion" or disc material if there is a bulge of the disc causing pain.
