At Pinkerton Pain Therapy, we will work with your referring physician to get you back to work and family activities as soon as possible.  We know that pain can be emotional and spiritual as well as physical, and we will strive to treat all the elements of your pain.

Mark C. Pinkerton, MD

HISTORY: Dr. Pinkerton is originally a native of Nebraska.  After practicing Anesthesiology for more than 10 years, he felt the Lord pulling him into a new area of medicine, one where he could make a more positive difference in the lives of hurting people.  He competed a Fellowship in Pain Management at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN and began his career in Pain Management.

CERTIFICATIONS: Dr. Pinkerton is Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Pain Medicine.  He is a Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice World Institute of Pain, and a member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.

In 2006 Dr. Pinkerton was able to
realize a life-long dream of opening his own independent practice.  Pinkerton Pain Therapy serves patients all over the Four State area with satellite locations in Carthage and Pittsburg. Dr. Pinkerton is on staff at most of the area hospitals.  He is able to accomodate and accepts all commercial insurance.  He is in network with most commercial insurance.
