There are many nerves in and around the spine that can be sensitive to pain. A thorough evaluation should be done by your physician to determine the etiology of your pain. Pain or numbness shooting into your buttocks, legs, or feet; weakness in the legs; or changes in the bowel and/or bladder may indicate further back problems.
